Rig'n'Roll Gold Edition on Win10

Some people on Steam posted for Rig'n'Roll game that they had some difficulty to run the game under Windows 8 because of the protection StarForce, the developers do not want to update the protection driver to support Windows 8.1. You have to Go on the Steam Files, Rig N Roll, click on properties in rungame.exe, and take the compability on windows 8. it will run the game.

I have tested "Rig'n'Roll Gold Edition" DVD version 3.05.2726 and it works great under Windows 10 64bit "Rig'n'Roll Gold Edition" was released in 2013 by Polish publisher Cenega and it have not any protection and no StarForce. So if you want stay out of problem do not buy Steam version go for Gold Retail version.

This game could be great but developer ruin it, had some bad design and annoying long cut scene that you can not skip. Also the game map is based on real world distance and it takes very long time to deliver cargo and it make the game very boring and monotonous.


Rig'n'Roll Gold Edition includes Content Monster Cup add-on:
"The „Monster Cup“ is a special add-on to the Rig‘N‘Roll game, providing completely
new routes, vehicles, and allowing you to take part in a major truckers‘ race organized
by the CCWA (California Commercial Warehouse Alliance) In that competition, you not
only need to deliver your cargo - you also have to be the fastest driver! The Monster
Cup race consists of a few different parts and sometimes you just have to win a few
races in order to get to the next stage, but remember that in other cases even being
second won‘t be enough
The add-on is available either after finishing the Rig‘N‘Roll scenario or from the
„Story“ section in main menu, after turning that scenario off" info From Manual page 7

Vulkan (API) is OpenGL2 graphic cards

Vulkan (API) is next generation OpenGL in short you can call it OpenGL2.
The benefits with Vulkan and DirectX12 it will be faster and works closer to hardware.

To make the older graphic cards support Vulkan it is done by driver updates but some older graphic cards  will not be supported by Vulkan (API)
Nvidia and Khronos Group said  "we are not planning to support Geforce 400-500 class GPUs"

For AMD graphic cards to support AMD:s Vulkan (API) it need to be architecture Graphics Core Next (GCN), it means from Radeon HD 7000 and newer that will have support for Vulkan (API)

So in short Nvidia graphic cards from Kepler Geforce GTX 600-series and newer will support Vulkan (API) and if you have older graphic cards then it will not support it.

C.W. McCALL - CONVOY 1975 Video

I've found the very old original C.W. McCALL - CONVOY 1975 (Audio Enhanced) music video at Youtube link
It may be hard to find it's from the good old days 70's from the creator (W. Dale Fries) of Convoy song he both sings and performs. 2 years later the Convoy song was used in the trucking film Convoy (1978).

To install music mp3 for Scs truck games ATS & Euro Truck Simulator or 18ws games, etc:
Just put copy your *.mp3 or *.ogg files to music folder in example:
 ..\My Documents\Euro Truck Simulator\music 
Then in Game hit the "R" button to bring up the music-player to play your mp3 music it in game.

Add your music files in mp3 format to the My Radios folder which can be found in folder:

It has same quality as the good old day C.W.McCall Convoy film sound track from 70's. Also Kris Kristofferson has performed some music with Johnny Cash link

Stingray game engine by autodesk

Stingray game engine It's excellent for creating 3D games or a design professional creating real-time visualizations. It's fully support integrated with Maya and 3Ds Max. "Warhammer End Times Vermintide" game by Developer Fatshark is was made in Stingray game engine. Stingray have excellent animation support and lighting effect, etc.

Creating a game engine from ground is very hard and takes time.  Some people don't know Stingray engine most popular game engine are Unity 5 and Unreal Engine 4.
